Renew your vows with Assassin’s Creed II DLC

Are you ready to recommit yourself to the Creed?  Ubisoft announced two massive bits of DLC for Assassin’s Creed II yesterday, both DLC packs coming in near the 1GB range.  The titles and sheer size of the content seems to promise an epic continuation of the hugely successful action-adventure game…

Ubisoft sent out quite a teaser of a press release yesterday, with a bare minimum of details to whet our appetites:

When: First DLC launches in January & second DLC in February

Details: DLC 1 – Battle of Forli

DLC 2- Bonfire of the Vanities

How: Must own a disc copy of Assassin’s Creed II on Playstation 3 or Xbox 360, have
an Internet connection to download the additional content and a minimum of 1.0 GB of memory available for each DLC

The Battle of Forli could be an interesting endeavor, possibly based on historical fact. In May of 1282, Pope Martin IV sent a contingent of French troops to force Forli to accept papal sovereignty.
