          Hey everyone! I bet a lot of people are wondering about Crackdown 2. Well, I’ve some good news; it is a lot more exciting than I thought it would be. For those who have played and beaten Crackdown 2, or those who haven’t but are still interested in Crackdown 2 mechanics, let me go over the basics. In Crackdown 1/ 2, you are a super soldier of sorts sent to clean up the city. In Crackdown 1 you were sent to clean up the city from a bunch of different crooks. In 2, well I know everyone wants a spoiler but that ruins the fun, so let’s just say that humans aren’t the only thing that is going wrong in your beloved Pacific City. A whole bunch of let’s just call them creeps are causing chaos.

          Now for the game play. It does look and feel very similar to Crackdown but it has a bit more polish; you feel a tad more in control. That is to say that, when you have a gun, your aim feels much better. However, your melee seems to have been weakened in this game; now I am not sure if it is just me or if that was on purpose to show off the killer fire power of the new arms. Your character is faster and stronger than a normal human, and as you collect orbs, you will gain strength, manoeuvrability, and power.

          Running around the city feels just as fun as it always did and there are lots of places to explore. Vehicles seem to have more point, but running around is just more fun, in my opinion. As for the mission structure; you have missions this time, though they’re dispersed. You don’t just eliminate people to eliminate the boss. The variety feels a lot more refreshing.

          The sound, just as in the first, is very good. You feel that the city is alive around you. People have personalities, even though you don’t. The atmosphere and music compliment the game well and fill you with a purpose. It is very well done.

          Now that I have talked about the game, I wish to share my thoughts on the event itself. It was absolutely amazing. On top of the 22^nd floor of the element in Toronto was a great location to host the event. The Staff was both friendly and knowledgeable. The atmosphere was welcoming and pleasant. Everyone got their fair share of asking questions and gaming. Food and drinks were served and the view was very nice. I could not have been happier to have been at this showing of Crackdown 2.

          Now to answer some questions before I get commented or twittered. I will try to guess some things that you wish to know. Multiplayer is your standard affair. There is death match and game types like that. DLC will add to the number of game types and maps when it comes out. Co-op is over Xbox Live, sorry for those who are like me and like being in the room; maybe next time. There are some graphical flaws but mostly it runs smoothly and loading is very quick.

          Now I wish to finish by saying a few things. Crackdown 2 is definitely a game that anyone who likes games like Grand Theft Auto, should be waiting for to come out. The event was magnificent. And here is the little bit of a spoiler for anyone who read all this far, more than likely there will be a Crackdown 3. Happy playing everyone.
