Steamy Details on Portal 2 PS3

Valve has opened the floodgates for a new era of PS3 coolness with a Press Release about Steam and the Playstation 3 version of the highly anticipated Portal 2. The details reveal a bright future for the PS3 platform. As the debut Steam-enabled title for PS3, Portal 2 will support cross-platform online multi-player, letting you play with your fellow PS3 owners, tech-head PC gamers, or pretentious Mac owners. Not only can you play online with these other platforms, you can also link your PSN and Steam accounts, giving you cloud-based PS3 game-save storage (may be limited to Steam PS3 games only?) and access to your Steam Friends List to chat and send game invites. Gamers who own Portal 2 for PS3 and link their accounts will also receive a Steam Play version of the game for use through Steam on PC/Mac (how cool is that?). I imagine this will be accomplished through one-time-use codes similar to Rock Band and Guitar Hero Import Codes.
