Activision Says Bizarre Creations To Close
Late last year, Activision officially put up Bizarre Creations for sale, and honestly we all thought someone would buy them up. However, no one yet has made an offer and after what the publisher deems a disappointment with Blur and James Bond 007: Blood Stone, they are ultimately recommending that the developers close their doors. Which is apparently something the developers are willing to accept.
Over on Develop, Coddy Johnson, Activision worldwide studio’ COO said, “Our first choice was to try and keep this group together and find a buyer for the studio. This decision comes after a few months of exhausted examination of a number of different options across the board.” He also claims that Activision has done all it can in it’s attempt to find a buyer.
As always this is news we do not take lightly and our best wishes go out to everyone affected by this decision.
