Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary Announced

Well its been rumored for what seems to be ages now, but Microsoft has finally announced that yes, a Halo: Combat Evolved remake is being released this year, the 10th anniversary since the original game released. The campaign is remastered but does not stray too far from the games original graphics. Players will be able to switch back and forth between the original and remastered graphics with the push of a button.

The game will also include seven of the classic multiplayer maps all remade in the Reach engine, co-op, and a single firefight map which takes place in a location from the single player campaign. Obviously being an anniversary edition the game will release on November 15. Microsoft has hinted that it will probably not be priced as a full game but nothing has been formally announced.
