Left 4 Dead 2 Dead Air DLC Beta Released on Steam

Awhile back Valve made a deal with their fans, if enough gamers played through the beta of Cold Stream they would release Dead Air to the public early. Gamers met that goal and now Valve has released Dead Air to beta on Left 4 Dead 2 on Steam.

The developers hinted saying they made more changes than simple adjustments for melee weapons and such which didn’t exist in the previous game. They “made some changes to the 4th and 5th maps of the campaign.” Take it as you will and wait until the final product releases or head over to Steam now and play the beta to find out for yourself.

The DLC will hit Xbox 360 sometime later this summer, presumably when all of the campaigns have exited beta.
