Nintendo Drops 3DS Price by $80
Nintendo has just announced that they’ve dropped the 3DS price down $80 to $169.99 effective August 12. “For anyone who was on the fence about buying a Nintendo 3DS, this is a huge motivation to buy now,” said Nintendo of America President Reggie Fils-Aime. “We are giving shoppers every incentive to pick up a Nintendo 3DS, from an amazing new price to a rapid-fire succession of great games.” This was probably brought about by the lower than expected sales they experienced in the last quarter, the first time Nintendo’s experienced a loss in quite a long time.
