GameFly: Analog to Digital Conversion
Gamefly, the by-mail videogame rental service revealed a new digital download and play program in their August Newsletter. This Unlimited PC Play program will be available at no extra cost to “active members”, offering a growing library of over 1,500 download-able computer games for PC and Mac platforms.
This move could dramatically increase the value of a GameFly subscription by buffering turn around time, as you will be able to play downloaded games for free on the computer while you wait for your next console game to come in the mail.
