Supposed Proof of Half Life 3 Squashed

Valve’s Chet Faliszek, writer, has come out and thrown the Half Life community a bone, finally saying that all the “confirmations” of Half Life 3 are just people being trolls.

Many fans took the video which would have been shown at the Video Game Awards, had Wheatley won best character, as a hint at the highly anticipated Half Life 3. There was even more hype when a Valve employee was shown at a party, for industry veterans, wearing a shirt donning a Half Life 3 logo.

“You are being trolled.” Faliszek began, “Wheatley’s speech was set in Portal 2 fiction – that is all. I just want to say this so there is no confusion. This is the community trolling the community nothing more. While it is nice to see people excited about anything HL, I hate seeing people be trolled like this.”
