Microsoft Rolls Out Some Changes For Indie Game Developers
Over on their XNA Blog, Microsoft has confirmed some changes to the Indie Game system with the beginning of the new year. XNA Developers can now build games up to 500 MB which is ten times the limit before (50 MB). Devs will also be able to price any game below 150 MB at 80 Microsoft Points. The system previously required any game over 50 MB to cost 240 or 400 Microsoft Points. Developers can also put up to twenty games under their name, doubled from the previous limit of ten. Good news for the indie market which feels like Microsoft has been a little less than fair with them with all of these dashboard redesigns.
