Mass Effect 3 Multiplayer To Be Similar To Revelations

In an interview with IGN, Nick Clifford, product marketing for BioWare, commented on the new multiplayer system in Mass Effect 3. ”Dead Space felt like it was a separate mode from the single player experience. So what is it about single player that people love with Mass Effect? It’s the story, the RPG elements, and it’s the gameplay.”

The system will apparently work similar to Assassin’s Creed: Revelations where players could earn some extras including experience through the Mediterranean Defense game mode. However, you will be playing in the missions yourself. “Let’s say I get my Vanguard leveled up and I want to send him out to my single player game,” Clifford said. “I just start another Vanguard and do the same thing again.”

Universe At War is broken into difference zones: Terminus Systems, Outer Council Space, Inner Council Space, Earth Systems Alliance Space, and the Attican Traverse. These missions and locations will “directly impact the missions that [imported characters] can play in.”
