Why I Use Addons
WoW is a great game on its own, but addons help me play faster, cleaner, and more focused. I don’t go overboard with UI clutter — I use what improves visibility and control. Everything listed here is something I actually use in raids, dungeons, and everyday play.
Core UI Addons
ElvUI
My entire interface is built on ElvUI. It lets me keep things tidy, remove junk I don’t need, and keep cooldowns where my eyes naturally go.
WeakAuras
This is the most powerful tool in my setup. I use it for everything from tracking buffs and procs to showing defensive cooldown timers and dungeon mechanics. I build most auras myself or tweak public strings.
BigWigs / LittleWigs
For boss fights and dungeons, BigWigs gives clean timers without being too loud. LittleWigs covers 5-man content the same way.
Details! Damage Meter
Still the best for tracking performance in raids and Mythic+. I use it to review fights, check uptime, and see where I messed up.
Quality of Life Addons
Leatrix Plus
Removes a ton of small annoyances — auto-accepts, quick sells, faster looting, and more. It’s lightweight and doesn’t get in the way.
TomTom
Great for entering waypoints quickly from guides. I use this a lot when leveling alts or running rare farming routes.
Angry Keystones
Adds more info to Mythic+ timers and shows progress clearly. I don’t run M+ without it.
Auctionator
Helps me buy and sell faster without all the noise of the default auction house UI. It’s especially useful when flipping items or stocking consumables.
PvP and Combat Tools
OmniBar
Shows enemy cooldowns in PvP. Great for arenas and battlegrounds if you want to react better and learn other classes.
GladiusEx
My arena frames of choice. Simple and efficient, with cast bars, trinket trackers, and DR icons.
sArena
Enhances default Blizzard arena frames. Lightweight and nice if you don’t want full Gladius features.
Farming and Gathering
RareScanner
Alerts me to nearby rares, treasures, and events. I use this a lot in Dragonflight zones and patch content areas.
Gathermate2
If I’m farming herbs or ores, this shows where to go. Works great with professions and saves time.
Map and Navigation
World Quest Tracker
Makes world quests easier to sort by reward, type, or location. Saves a lot of clicks.
HandyNotes + Plugins
Shows important map icons — treasures, rares, vendors, etc. I run the Dragonflight plugin and DungeonLocations.
Final Notes
I don’t use addons to play the game for me. I use them to stay informed, stay clean, and stay fast. Every addon listed here works well together and doesn’t slow down my system. If something starts causing lag or clutter, I cut it.
If you’re curious about how I configure any of these or want my profiles, just reach out. I’m happy to share my setup or post sample screenshots in future updates.
