Who I Am

Hi, I’m Avery Wright — the writer, builder, and solo brain behind LoudMouthedGamers.com. I live in Cardiff, UK, and I’ve been playing World of Warcraft since 2005. This site started as a personal side project and quickly turned into something much bigger. Now, it’s my main outlet for everything I learn in-game, and a way to stay connected with other players who care about playing smart and having fun.

My Gaming Background

I started out as a Human Mage in Vanilla, switched to a Druid in Burning Crusade, and never looked back. Over the years, I’ve tanked, healed, and dps’d my way through every expansion. I’ve played both factions, cleared heroic and mythic raids, and logged more hours in PvP battlegrounds than I should probably admit. I’m not a streamer, not part of a pro guild, and I don’t sell carries — I just play a lot and write about what works.

Why I Built This Site

At first, I just wanted a place to keep my own notes: dungeon routes, talent builds, UI setups. Then friends started asking for them. Eventually, I realized that tons of players needed clean, direct guides without all the extra talk and drama. That’s why I built LoudMouthedGamers — a site focused on helping people actually play better.

How I Write My Guides

Everything I post is based on what I’ve tested in the game myself. I don’t write fluff or guess based on PTR rumors. If I haven’t played it, I don’t cover it. I keep things simple and clear so they’re useful to anyone — whether you’re new, returning, or just looking to fix one weak spot in your setup. My focus is always on clarity, usefulness, and respect for your time.

What You’ll Find on This Site

I write about raids, Mythic+, class builds, interface settings, and changes from new patches. I also cover addons, gold-making ideas, and some community stuff. The goal is to make this site feel like a reliable notebook from a friend who actually plays.

A Bit More About Me

When I’m not logged into Azeroth, I work in IT support and tinker with Linux setups. I drink too much coffee, love keyboard shortcuts, and take too much pride in never clicking action bars. I’m not trying to be famous or make this a brand. I just enjoy the game, and writing about it helps me enjoy it even more.

Get in Touch

I always like hearing from readers. If you spot a mistake, want to suggest a new guide, or just want to say hey, head to the Contact Me page. I answer everything myself — no AI replies or team accounts.
